UPenn

As a decendent of a signer of the declaration of independence, I couldn't leave Philadelphia without visiting Independence Hall, the place where it all happened. I must give credit to Dr. John Stanley however because I didn't actually know this was where the original document was signed. Shows how much I really know. Anyhow, it was fantastic to see the architecture and hear the tour guide tell the story. The history in Philly really is remarkable. Hopefully I'll have the chance to go back and spend some time there in the future.

Independence Hall

The place where the Declaration and the Constitution were signed. Most of this was recreated. The architecture is original.

Added in the late 1700s... pretty amazing right.

Inside the entry hall of Independence Hall.

Independence Hall was originally the State House of Pennsylvania and so it contained this, a courtroom.
